SBM Offshore, formerly IHC Caland N.V., is the management holding company of a group of international companies, working as suppliers to the offshore oil and gas industry on a global basis. The company has been listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange since 1965.
Since 1974 NKI Group has been involved in the design, fabrication, installation and project management of Interior Specialties for Passenger Terminals, and has realized close to 300 Airport Interior Projects in over 65 countries around the world, which have shaped NKI into the experienced and respected organization that it is today.
SBM Offshore decided to concentrate on its core activities and retained Independent Capital Partners to advise on the sale of the assets of its 100% subsidiary, NKI Group.
The transaction involved the sale of all assets of NKI Group to Nimbus including the company name and brand. Nimbus will further grow the company internationally.
