Before joining Independent Capital Partners, Bastiaan was partner at corporate finance boutique Nielen Schuman. Before that, he was senior investment manager at private equity firm NPM Capital for a period of 5 years.
Bastiaan started his carreer with Venture Capital Investors (V.C.I.) where he set up and managed two real estate funds in St. Petersburg, Russia. He has experience in the fields of private equity, investment management, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and professional advisory.
Bastiaan studied business administration at the VU University of Amsterdam, he speaks Russian fluently and is an enthousiastic marathon runner and golfplayer.
