De Zuydwal groep is active in the Dutch catering industry and operates the following well known restaurants: Graaf Floris V, De Haven van Huizen, Mauve, De Kalkovens, Grand Café Sailor's Rest and the BoatHouse. In addition the group develops real estate and provides catering services.
The restaurants are located in historical settings and provide high quality services. The group is active in the Gooi area of The Netherlands and focuses on the high to mid-end of the market.
Debuut Holding operates 27 restaurants and is the largest independent company active in the Dutch catering industry. The total revenue of Debuut, including De Zuydwal Groep, will be approximately € 45 million in 2008.
With the acquisition of De Zuydwal Groep, Debuut expands its activities to the Gooi region and is able to further benefit from economies of scale.
