Before Independent Capital Partners Bastiaan was partner with Nielen Van Schaik, an independent corporate finance boutique focused on the Benelux. Prior to that he worked for NPM Capital as senior investment manager, TMF Financial Services as senior consultant.
Bastiaan started his career with Venture Capital Investors where he set up two real estate funds and an outdoor advertisement company in St. Petersburg, Russia. His experience covers operational expertise, private equity, investment management, mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance.
Bastiaan has a master in business economics, is fluent in Russian and is an enthusiastic kite surfer and golf player.
